There is very little time left until winter, and there is still a lot of work in the garden. Let's tidy up the temporary summer kitchen in the forest house together.
I will also be happy to share a recipe for delicious buns. The dough is really airy, like fluff.
The buns stay soft for several days.
🥐Recipe for buns "Like fluff".
240 grams of milk,
160 grams of sugar,
10 grams of dry fast-acting yeast or 30 grams of fresh pressed yeast.
4 medium eggs,
120 grams of butter,
1 teaspoon of salt,
+/- 900 grams of flour (I used 830 grams of flour)
Milk + sugar + yeast Mix and let stand for 15 minutes to activate the yeast (you can add a spoonful of flour from the total volume of the recipe)
Beat the eggs, add the melted butter, mix and combine with the milk mixture.
Add vanilla + salt. Mix everything well and gradually add the sifted flour.

The dough should be elastic and not stick to your hands. The recipe calls for 900 grams of flour, but I used only 830 grams of flour. It depends on the quality of the flour used.
Do not overdo it with flour in the dough.
Knead the dough, leave it to rise in a warm place for 50 minutes. When the dough rises, lower it and let it rise again (about 1 hour). When the dough rises for the second time, you can make buns.
Form balls, each about 80 grams, let them rest for 15 minutes. Make buns to your taste, put them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Let the buns rise for 30 minutes, brush with egg yolk + milk. Bake at 180 C until golden brown. The time depends on your oven.
The dough is good, pliable and easy to work with. The buns are airy, like fluff.
