This Tape made my Christmas in 1988. I got this and another House Hits of 88 single cassette that year and my obsession for House Music has grown ever since.

Each Side had a unique mixture of tracks that defined a specific genre of House Music from around the globe. With obscure mixes and 12" mixes a plenty this was one of the first dance music compilations that offered a wider audience the chance to hear what was shaping and moving the club scene of its day.

This gave me as a 13 year old Scally from Liverpool the chance to hear what was influencing the rest of the world over. The Deep Heat collection would follow the next year but not before I played the shit out of this double pack!!!!!

I'm still the proud owner of this tape today. Unlike the "Electros" this collection only came in an unmixed format. I would of loved a mixed version back then, so in honour of that memory I presenting all four sides of this phenomenal collection as four separate mixes each 30 minutes long featuring the same tracks in the same order but mixed together as one set.
