Taking a break from pre-season training, Los Angeles Rams’ star running back Todd Gurley teamed up with Uncle Bob’s Self Storage for a meet and greet event at the Uncle Bob’s Self Storage facility in Torrance, California.
With more than 500 fans in attendance, Gurley met with fans and fielded questions from 10 lucky kids selected to ask the NFL Rookie of the Year a question, courtesy of the KNX 1070 News Radio’s Jr. Broadcaster drawing.
“I am excited to call LA home, and it was great to have a chance to meet my new hometown fans. Thanks so much to Uncle Bob’s Self Storage for making this happen,” said Gurley.
In addition to meeting the University of Georgia alum, the event featured food, refreshments and an assortment of activities for kids including an inflatable football toss and sports-focused video games.
The event was held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Uncle Bob’s Self Storage location at 4230 W. 190th Street in Torrance, California.
Uncle Bob’s Torrance location is one of nine facilities located in the greater Los Angeles region and more than 550 locations across the United States. Later this month, the company will open three additional storage facilities in Los Angeles under the Life Storage® brand.
