It’s less than a year ago that LCTRISC released their fourteenth single with the dark fantasy rock shuffle ‘Swords & Serpents’. They’re now back with another rock oriented creation. ’Coming Over’ has the characteristics of a power ballad with passionate vocals, a weeping guitar solo and a thundering 80s snare.“We’ve been working on this song on and off for many years and it has gone through quite a many facelifts before emerging in this classic rock ballad form.” says the duo.
“It is possibly one of the best songs we’ve ever written, if not THE best.”
It touches on the subject of the power of music as a catalyst for one's emotions and how a certain song can be a substantial aid through times of hardship. It’s about spiraling down a state of mind such as loneliness, heartache or anxiety that overshadows everything and how at that point all you can do is hope someone’s there to catch you.
“Reaching out for help can be hard and we hope that this song might inspire someone who’s on the bottom to open up and dare to be vulnerable.”
