I set up the SP404a to act as a 'performable' drum machine for the Synth patterns on the Electribe 2 (made using the built-in analog-modelling oscillators). The two are sync'd together by MIDI. I'm using the filter, resonance and pitch to affect the synth. For the SP404a I'm mostly using the effects, filter and stuttering (set to affect the kick and snare but not hi hat). The individual stereo outputs went into track 1, 2, 3 & 4 of the Tascam 688 cassette recorder and I then overdubbed a tambourine and bongo drum on tracks 5 & 6, just because I had the free space.
Just improvised with no real structure, a few changes here and there. Enjoy.
