If i remember correctly, Christian Martin came up with this amazing melody and then i was tasked with more of the beatmaking/arrangement duties. This will sound crazy but two of the biggest labels we liked were Get Physical and Minus - so we tried to do a dirtybird 808 tune with a melody like the best tracks on get physical and the rolling techno snares of a minus track. Its like a big bowl of chicken soup with 3 major influences all stirred together.
