Why Did Shadow’s Change of Heart Happen So Fast? With the movie’s fast pace, some story beats felt rushed—especially Shadow’s sudden realization. A few words were enough to change his mind, which felt way quicker than how it played out in the games. In the original game, Amy reminded Shadow of Maria’s final wish, bringing him to tears and making him rethink everything. But in the movie, his epiphany happens while staring at the stars—probably to set up Amy’s surprise appearance later. Another weird moment? Shadow knocks all the Chaos Emeralds out of Sonic with a single punch, but when they later split the emeralds, they’re suddenly evenly matched. And where did the emeralds even go after that? The movie never really explains. Then there’s the black hole Shadow creates—it’s strong enough to suck in a mountain, but somehow, it doesn’t instantly destroy a spaceship in space? Logically, it should have wiped it out with ease, without requiring any kind of sacrifice. Maybe an extended cut will clear things up. What do you think—was Shadow’s arc too rushed?
