Songs that appear in my dreams, recorded as soon as possible upon waking. Raw material for the potential Dizzy Tiger Music Co release: Stay Out Forever - 'Dream Pop (Volume 2)' (DTMC116) This song appeared at the end of a dream, heavy with music and popular culture. In the case of this song, I was dreaming it was a Sisters Of Mercy track (the 'Floodland' line-up), very grand and anthemic. Other parts of the dream involved putting together a Beatport 30 minute mix of early electronic tracks from the Cherry Red catalogue (in the dream I couldn't find the songs I was expecting, like Joe Crow and The Passage, online but did include a couple by Einsturzende Neubauten, oddly), sadly all the songs I imagined in this part of the dream had vanished by the time I woke up. I also dreamt we were hanging around with Liza Goddard reminiscing about her life with her friends, trying to get back with an ex of mine, calling in on Alan Moore and his housemate while they were cooking Sunday lunch and watching Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone with them, although it took about an hour of exposition with Voldemort, the Knight Bus and that clockwork owl from the Ray Harryhausen films before Harry and the rest of the kids appearead.
