Description:
Think Luxembourg is just a tiny country lost in Europe? Think again.
In this video, we flip your perspective on size and scale. What if we told you Luxembourg is big enough to fit seven countries inside its borders—including Monaco, San Marino, and even Singapore?
Often mislabeled as a microstate, Luxembourg actually spans 2,586 square kilometers—138 times smaller than Germany, sure, but far from tiny when compared to real microstates.
We compare land and population sizes to show just how deceptive appearances can be. You’ll never look at Luxembourg the same way again.

What if I tell you that you could fit 7 different countries inside Luxembourg ?
Many people wrongly refer to Luxembourg as a microstate, but it actually has an area of 2,586 square kilometers which of course, is 138 times less than its neighbor Germany.
If we change the perspective, all these European states could fit inside Luxembourg.
San Marino, Monaco, Andorra, Malta, Liechtenstein and Vatican City, and, there is still enough room for one Singapore and suddenly, Luxembourg does not seem that small anymore, but in terms of population, Singapore alone is 9 times bigger than Luxembourg.
