Nicola Pignatiello vive en Roma y es guitarrista, laudista e investigador en la Universidad de Roma Tor Vergata. Su carrera musical se divide entre el repertorio clásico y el barroco. Sus investigaciones se centran en la improvisación y la recuperación de los Partimenti napolitanos para la enseñanza guitarrística, de los cuales ha realizado la primera publicación existente sobre el tema.

Nicola Pignatiello lives in Rome and is a guitarist, lutenist and researcher at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. His musical career is divided between classical and baroque repertoire. His research focuses on improvisation and the recovery of the Neapolitan Partimenti for guitar teaching, of which he has produced the first existing publication on the subject.

Jaime Ribot ocupa un lugar destacado entre los constructores históricos de la ciudad de Barcelona junto con Enrique García, Francisco Simplicio, Marchuet, Pedro Pérez, Bautista Alcañiz, Agustín Altamira, Francisco España o Ignacio Fleta entre otros.
Jaime Ribot y Bautista Alcañiz formaron la firma Ribot y Alcañiz en Barcelona, cuyo taller estaba situado en la calle Ancha hasta el año 1920. Al finalizar la colaboración conjunta entre Ribot y Alcañiz, Jaime Ribot continuó construyendo con su propia etiqueta y contó con la ayuda de su hijo Juan Ribot, quien falleció prematuramente en 1918 y fue un notable constructor y excelente ejecutante de instrumentos de plectro.

Jaime Ribot occupies a prominent place among the historical builders of the city of Barcelona along with Enrique García, Francisco Simplicio, Marchuet, Pedro Pérez, Bautista Alcañiz, Agustín Altamira, Francisco España or Ignacio Fleta among others.
Jaime Ribot and Bautista Alcañiz formed the firm Ribot y Alcañiz in Barcelona, whose workshop was located in Ancha Street until 1920. When the joint collaboration between Ribot and Alcañiz ended, Jaime Ribot continued building with his own label and was assisted by his son Juan Ribot, who died prematurely in 1918 and was a notable builder and excellent player of plectrum instruments.

Las Sonatas de Domenico Cimarosa son un maravilloso ejemplo de la escuela napolitana.
Cimarosa (1749–1801), debido a la pobreza de sus padres, fue confiado al orfanato de Santa María de Loreto y se formó a través de los partimenti de Francesco Durante, convirtiéndose en uno de los más grandes compositores de su época.
Las Sonatas para teclado se adaptan excepcionalmente bien a la guitarra gracias a su textura, que se mueve principalmente a dos o tres voces, permitiendo así disfrutar en las seis cuerdas de un repertorio de altísimo nivel.
Esta transcripción no busca imitar el teclado, sino que se inspira en el estudio de Barrios y sus fascinantes digitaciones, buscando un lenguaje natural y expresivo para la guitarra.

Domenico Cimarosa's Sonatas are a wonderful example of the Neapolitan school.
Cimarosa (1749-1801), due to the poverty of his parents, was entrusted to the orphanage of Santa Maria di Loreto and trained through the partimenti of Francesco Durante, becoming one of the greatest composers of his time.
The keyboard Sonatas are exceptionally well suited to the guitar thanks to their texture, which moves mainly in two or three voices, thus allowing a repertoire of the highest level to be enjoyed on the six strings.
This transcription does not seek to imitate the keyboard, but is inspired by the study of Barrios and his fascinating fingerings, seeking a natural and expressive language for the guitar.
