"It Keeps Rainin'" was a big tune for Fats. Covered many times, the last time by Bitty McLean, who scored a #2 hit in the UK and #1 in the Netherlands.
Fats version debuted on May 15, 1961 and reached POS. 23. It stayed 11 weeks on the charts.
It scored better in the R&B-charts: It had its debut on June 26, 1961 and reached #18, staying 5 weeks on the charts.
He had one big Smash on the R&B-charts to go.
