How to brush your teeth
Brush for a minimum of 2 minutes.
Brush at least twice a day ( morning and bedtime)
Use a soft and bristle toothbrush.
Brushing is not about how hard you scrub your teeth.
Brushing hard causes recession of gums which can lead to gum disease or sensitivity
Technique to brush your teeth
Place the toothbrush at a 45-degree angle to the gums.
Angles are very important as plaque forms at corner junctions of teeth and gums.
Do small little circles for 5-10 seconds and swipe out.
Cover 2-3 teeth at a time and do it for all the teeth.
Do this for inside part of teeth ( tongue side)
On top of teeth scrub gently with brush
Move the brush back and forth gently in short strokes.For teeth from canine to canine.
Place the brush vertically straight and scrub gently- up and down.
Repeat these steps for both the jaws.
Clean your tongue with a brush or tongue cleaner.
Change your toothbrush in 2 months or earlier (as required).
