Today's video is a followup to my recent impulse buy of Dan Henry's most complicated and feature-rich watch—the Dan Henry 1972 Maverick. Many of you know I'm a huge fan of Dan's watches. I love the fun, value, and tasteful designs they offer that are difficult to beat at the affordable level. However, this time I was disappointed. Join me to find out why, in another independent, unbiased review where I share the positives and negatives of this super-fun watch that was inspired by Top Gun, Porsche Design, and glorious 70s and 80s chronographs. Although things didn't go to plan, is there still a chance this watch might steal my heart away from one of my current favorites—the Dan Henry 1962? And how does it compare to the current reigning king of chronographs under $500—my beloved Seiko Flightmaster (SNA411) aka The Mighty Flighty?
