Allright, there are a lot of videos of the optima mid on youtube. But most of them are lame. Its always a guy leaving a video camera on a tripod or on the road and the car is going super fast without much control. You can find a lot more videos of the Lazer ZX-5 doing awesome and crazy jumps, and most of the optima mid videos do not show any jumps. This gives the impression that the optima mid isnt as awesome as the ZX-5. This is furthest from the truth. Many are also restoring the car to original specs. I am different, i want to push the car to new heights so to speak. I want the optima mid to be competitive against new cars.Here i am showing you my custom modified LWB Mid that i built up to race against the latest buggies. The most important upgrade would be the B4 Slipper clutch that gives me more control by reducing wheelspin, also to protect the tranny. It also has Lazer ZX suspension and fibrelyte shock towers, to better handle bumpy surfaces than the original mids suspension. A Speedpassion GT1.1 ESC and brushless 10.5T motor is installed and gives the car good speed. There will be other videos coming not so soon of this optima mid driving in racing off road circuits with big jumps. watch for it.
