Ventilation is a MUST-HAVE for healthy homes

Installing an ERV was planned for our project from the very early phases. If you are building as airtight as possible, it’s critical that you have a way to exchange fresh air - Stale air allows the build up of carbon dioxide, VOCs, and particulate matter which all can cause various long-term health issues.

Air exchange minimums have been a requirement in the commercial space for decades, and is just now gaining traction in residential markets as high performance homes (very airtight and well insulated) are becoming more common and homeowners are becoming more educated on best practices in building.

The @broannutone AI series ERV communicates with other devices throughout our home - our kitchen range hood, dehumidifier, and bath fans and then automatically turns on/off based on the information it gathers.
