Welcome to the new era of JEKAZOL.

The first 100% synthetic metal track from JEKAZOL. No guitar - lots of distorted synth; Plenty of FX and samples; Drums programmed as usual. Only 'real' thing is the vocals, and the fact that I actually created it, so it exists, lol.
"What is metal anyway?"

The next track (ARCHITECTURAL GENETICS) will take aggression and complexity to an even higher level, basically taking what we have here (which owes something to elecrto/dance, especially with the spase and repeated vocal line, and taking it back towards thrash metal).

I didn't necessarily choose this path. I have had a problem with the muscles in my hands (only in terms of playing guitar) since JEKAZOL started playing live, probably caused by repetitive strain mixed with all those cold days out window cleaning. It gradually got worse until now I can only play a few seconds at a time and have to join riffs together in the computer. I struggle to play fast, and up-down picking can stumble and crash. ESCHATOLOGY was made up of slower riffs for this reason (and it was perfect). Some other tracks like 'Ravenor' and 'Far From God' are largely made up of recorded demos still saved on my PC from the past. I will go back to playing with the help of the computer for future tracks, but for this and the next track, it's all inside the PC, apart from the vocals of course. I guess eventually all these differing styles and experiments will come together for the last battle which won't be for a while yet.
