This train takes over from the YLA51 East Industries Switcher which comes from Weeds Yard and ties down at the Federal Siding by Downey Rd and Slauson Ave.
We chase the train as it runs around the cars at Federal Siding passing classic searchlight signals, shoving south of the switch before pulling onto the run-down Huntington Park Industrial Lead to serve Norton and then Crown Poly off the old abandoned yard by Bickett St.
With its industrial switching work complete, the train shoves back out onto the San Pedro Sub, then makes its run north across the LAJ and BNSF San Bernardino Sub diamonds to the UP Los Angeles Sub, then shoves into Weeds Yard in East LA where it will tie up for the evening.
A trio of EMD Geeps, GP60 1150, GP40-2 1469, and Rare GP40P-2 1375 make up today's power. Note the graffiti covering the engines, with the 1150 featuring the famous face painted on the nose. Thanks for watching!
