Come on, move on, move on, move on! [After handing Harry a ticket, Stan taps on a window that separates them from the front of the bus, where the driver, Ernie Prang, has a hanging shrunken head.] Take 'er away, Ern.
Shrunken Head: Yeah, take it away, Ernie! It's going to be a bumpy ride, ha, ha, ha, ha!
[The Knight Bus takes off like a rocket, speeding down various streets and causing all the beds to bounce around wildly. The sleeping wizard still remains asleep.]
Stan Shunpike: What did you say your name was again?
Harry: I didn't.
Stan Shunpike: Well, whereabouts are you headed?
Harry: The Leaky Cauldron. That's in London.
Stan Shunpike: D'you hear that, Ern? "The Leaky Cauldron. That's in London." [laughs]
Shrunken Head: The Leaky Cauldron. Hey, if you have the pea soup, make sure you eat it before it eats you! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
Harry: But the Muggles? Won't they see us?
Stan Shunpike: Muggles? They don't see nothing, do they?
Shrunken Head: No, but if you jab them with a fork, they feel! Ha, ha, ha, ha! [The bus turns down an alleyway, where an old Muggle lady is crossing the street.] Ernie, little old lady at twelve o'clock! [Ernie stops the bus inches from the old lady, who doesn't seem to notice it's there.] Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, three and a half, two, one and three quarters, yes!
[The old lady having cleared the street, the bus takes off like a rocket again. Harry notices a scary-looking man on the cover of the newspaper that Stan is reading.]
Harry: Who is that? That man?
Stan Shunpike: Who is that? Who is - that is Sirius Black, that is! Don't tell me you've never been hearin' of Sirius Black. [Harry shakes his head] He's a murderer. Got himself locked up in Azkaban for it.
Harry: How did he escape?
Stan Shunpike: Well, that's the question, isn't it? He's the first one that done it. He was a big supporter of... You-Know-Who. I reckon you've heard of him.
Harry: Yeah... him I've heard of.
[The Knight Bus is now crossing a bridge and going right into the path of two double-decker buses.]
Shrunken Head: Ernie, two double-deckers at twelve o'clock. They're getting closer, Ern. Ernie, they're right on top of us! [Ernie pulls on switches that cause the bus to slow down and squeeze between the two double-deckers.] Mind your head, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha... [As the bus compresses, it and its passengers are stretched thin.] Hey, guys! Guys! Why the long faces?! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! [After getting past the two double-deckers, the Knight Bus resumes its normal shape and takes off like a rocket again.] Yeah, yeah, nearly there! Nearly there! Nearly there!
[As it reaches the Leaky Cauldron, the bus bumps the car in front of it, causing a car alarm to go off.]
Stan Shunpike: The Leaky Cauldron.
Shrunken Head: Next stop, Knockturn Alley!
[Tom, the hunchbacked innkeeper, boards the bus.]
Tom: Ah, Mr. Potter, at last.
[Harry leaves the bus with Tom, who is now pulling the trunk.]
Stan Shunpike: Take 'er away, Ern!
Shrunken Head: Yeah, take it away Ernie!
[As it takes off again, the Knight Bus disappears into thin air, and a cat is heard yowling. After Harry has entered the Leaky Cauldron, Tom uses his wand to turn off the car alarm.]
