Κάποιες φορές,
λαχταρώ τη θάλασσα τόσο πολύ,
που θέλω να την πιω όλη.

Φαντάζομαι ότι έχω τόσο μεγάλο στόμα
και την καταπίνω όλη
και τα μαλλιά μου μοιάζουν με νερόφιδα και κλαίω αλμύρα,
μα νοστιμίζω με αυτήν την ζωή των άλλων.

Μου αρέσει να αλλάζω σχήματα
να χτυπιέμαι στους βράχους,
να τρυπώνω στις ρωγμές,
να σμιλέυω τις πέτρες,
να δροσίζω τους ανθρώπους,
να γίνομαι καθρέφτης,
να αντανακλώ το φως
και να θυμίζω γιορτή!

POEM (English Translation)

There are times when
I crave for the sea so much,
that I want to drink it all.

I imagine that I have a gigantic mouth and I swallow it whole
and my hair seem like water snakes
and I cry salty tears
but with it I flavour the life of others..

I like to shapeshift,
to crash against the rocks,
to slide between the rifts,
to smooth the stones,
to cool people down…
to become a mirror,
to reflect the light
and to be reminiscent of a celebration!
