A father and son duo responsible for multiple burglaries in Hollywood and surrounding jurisdictions, have been arrested.

Nathan Cole, 25, and his father James Earl Cole II, 57, face burglary and grand theft charges after confessing to burglarizing three Subway restaurants in Hollywood. The burglaries occurred at 6582 Taft Street on April 9, 2018 shortly after 4:00 a.m., 6105 Hollywood Boulevard on April 9, 2018 at 6:30 a.m., and on April 12, 2018 at 2850 Stirling Road at 1:45 a.m.

After reviewing surveillance footage from the Subway on Stirling Road, a Hollywood Police detective recognized the subject who is seen breaking the glass front door, entering and leaving with a safe containing $300 as Nathan Cole. The suspects stole an additional two cash registers, one of them containing about $100, from the other Subway restaurants.

Nathan Cole confessed to the burglaries and said that his father was his lookout. James Earl Cole II also admitted to being with his son during the three burglaries. Both men face charges of burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief. Both arrestees have also been linked to Subway burglaries in surrounding jurisdictions.
