We are hopping into a transformer kinda thing.
So, what on earth is this?
The US received the B8 A4 Avant as a non all road only. They came only as a 2.0T. Later the US received the B8.5 as an Allroad only. Confusing but true. So there was never an S4 or RS4 over there. My friend Tyler at @pacificgerman took a A4 B8 Avant and engine swapped it using a 4.2l V8 S5 donor car with lots of S4 B8 donor parts.
The S5 badge up front is just a fun teaser to what’s under the hood. Lots of guys got mad about the badge but it’s also kind of a shot to Audi too about not using badges, this one is wrong to the car but right to the engine.
