This might be the best flooring option in the world. One day, this man woke up and decided he wanted a polished concrete floor inside his house. He started by bringing in 25 cubic meters of sand to form the foundation. After showing off a few dance moves, he carefully leveled the sand to get ready for the next step. But is sand really a good base for a house floor? He continued by placing heavy stone plates over the sand, followed by a layer of rebar laid on top of those plates. Then he began pouring cement throughout the house. Once every room was covered in cement, he let it dry. After just 5 hours, it had hardened enough for the next stage. That’s when he began polishing the concrete in the living room. Polished concrete is usually the most expensive flooring choice, but since he’s doing it all himself, it’s practically free. Now the project is nearly complete—and you can see the joy all over his face.
