It's easy to get stuck in shuffle land when it comes to your blues rhythm guitar.

So today we're going to take a look at a couple of ways to spice up a plain vanilla 12 bar blues.

1. We'll avoid the classic blues shuffle pattern, but still stick with the rhythm
2. We'll toss in a really cool chord...the diminished 7th chord (dim7 or fully diminished chord)
