In this video we'll have a look on how a new ocean will be formed in the future. You see, on the African continent, deep into the hearth of Ethiopia a 50 kilometers crack appeared 20 years ago.
THis crack is the result of 3 giant techtonic plates pulling away from eachother. This crack continues to expand and it will eventually split the east part of Africa and will form a new ocean which should be called the African Ocean.
But we'll talk more about all of this in this video, so make sure you do not miss it.

This is how Africa will look like. Here’s why.
You see, 20 years ago, a massive crack measuring 50 kilometers appeared in Ethiopia. That was because the African Plate, The Arabian Plate and the Somali Plate were pulling away from each other, and they’ll continue to do so. Expanding every year, the crack will eventually split Africa in two.
This will actually help countries like Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, Burundi, Zambia and Malawi because they will gain access to the ocean, but will also affect countries like Ethiopia and Mozambique which will be cut in half by this crack.
Luckily, the crack is expanding very slow, and it will take millions of years for this split of Africa to happen.
