Formed in 2019, Sunship Balloon is the side project of 2/3 of The Wombats. They released their debut EP 'Intergalactic Teacup Travel Centre’ late last year, the duo’s heady mix of inventive time signatures, psychedelic melodies and insanely detailed production instantly drew critical acclaim and delved into new sonic territories they hadn’t entered before in other musical projects. The pair recently released their highly anticipated debut album 'Everywhen' , a cauldron of genres with ingredients taken from ambient electronica t, lo-fi hip hop, garage indie rock and alt-pop to name a few. As they put it ‘We imagined the album as a journey through the space-like expanse of the mind, floating along in a little space ship looking out at the planets orbiting the Basal Ganglia star.
