Outblinker Band Bio:
Outblinker formed in Glasgow, Scotland, at the end of 2014, as a way to bring the analogue dirt of noise rock to the world of electronic music and as a way to make nihilists dance.
The band features members and ex-members of Kabobo, Young Philadelphia, Dead or American, Hey Enemy and Strata.

The group is completely self-managed and DIY in its approach to music. They do not get invited to awards ceremonies and they do not have music in the soundtrack to “Girls”. Instead they tour regularly, especially in Europe, where the excellent underground scene has embraced their guerilla approach to electro-post-punk. The band can play any space with a plug socket thanks to their loud, analogue, amplified set-up which fits as easily into cramped German squats as it does onto festival stages.

Descriptions of the band have included the electro drive of Trans Am or Marvin, the gravity of Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Mogwai, the rawness of Jesus Lizard and Fuck Buttons.
Also the charisma of Rod Stewart.

Outblinker recorded and produced their recent EP "The Remains of Walter Peck" with Blanck Mass/Fuck Buttons mastermind and respected producer Ben Power (Mogwai, John Carpenter, Jean Michel Jarre, Manic Street Preachers).
Outblinker was also the first "DIY" self-managed British band to be premiered in famous American music publication SPIN, alongside bad jokes like Kanye West and Imagine Dragons.

Outblinker will tour the UK from August 24 – Sept 8, 2017, then Western Europe from October 18 – November 25 previewing songs from their debut album due in early 2018.
