To be honest with you, I'm not sure, but the Christmas season starts as early as September 1st, with the last four months of the year, from September to December, commonly referred to as the 'Ber’ months. That's why, starting in September, you'll notice more decorations and celebrations, and, of course, Mariah Carey and Jose Mari Chan.
