Tianna Bartoletta, Allyson Felix, English Gardner, Tori Bowie, and Morolake Akinosun of team USA won gold ahead of Jamaica with Christania Williams, Elaine Thompson, Veronica Campbell-Brown, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Simone Facey, and Shashalee Forbes. Bronze went to Asha Philip, Desirèe Henry, Dina Asher-Smith, and Daryll Neita of Great Britain.
