SLUDGE Metal works wonderfully with the Pentatonic and Blues scales. We'll be using the former for the most part with a some tritone interval thrown in for good measure.
Because we're playing in 6/8, there's a strong triplet feel to the riffs and there's lots of cool techniques to help everything groove and flow such as: slides, slurs, pull-offs and hammer-ons.
