The 48204 is on Detroit's Westside and one of the poorest and most crime-ridden zip codes in Detroit. In 2013, it was the worst zip in America, but it's came a long way in 10 years. It doesn't have half the blight it did, and abandoned homes are being saved and restored. There's still many streets and areas that look extremely rough, but the positive changes are slowly occurring.
