(RED) is named after the color of emergency. It was founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 to turn companies and collaborators into a cavalry to fight the AIDS pandemic. Today, having raised nearly $700 million to fund life-saving programs, that cavalry is also fighting the urgent threat of COVID as it continues to have a devastating impact on many parts of the world.
