They are spending almost $1,000/year out of their own pockets to provide basic necessities to keep their classrooms functioning: reeds, sheet music, strings, etc..Keeping music education alive in our schools is incredibly important to our children. Students who participate in school music programs do better in academic subjects, score higher on their SATs and are more likely to graduate and go to college. They’re also gifted with a sense of achievement and more likely to stay engaged at school.
