"Axis Mundi" means The Tree Of Life, The Cosmic Tree or The Cosmic Mountain and refers to mythological concept of construction of universe and connection between heaven, real life and afterlife. In Slavic mythology the most worshiped tree was oak which had religious and sacral value.

The album contains excerpts from ukrainian nad bulgarian folk songs.
