New garbage trucks will be on the streets before the holiday season.Minister of Environment and National Beautification Adrian Forde made the announcement in Parliament as he contributed to the Resolution: Section 2 of the Special Loans Act.
He notes Government is seeking to add to the 26 compactor trucks, two skip vehicles and other equipment purchased since coming to Office in 2018.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Mottley says her administration is concerned and is seeking to address the garbage situation.
