This is a piece by composer Dean De Benedictis (otherwise known as alias Surface 10) from his CD entitled A Cambient Variations. All of the sound and instrumentation for this CD was made from the human voice and human mouth alone. Dean mimics rhythmic instruments as well as unconventional ones, and then adds effects processing in the post production. In this piece, "Universal Winter," Dean focuses more on drones and textures, while other A Cambient pieces resemble beat-driven genres. (This video also includes some footage of Mt. Fitz Roy in Patagonia.)
