This video is my submission for the 2022 Tiny Desk Contest. The song is called "Reparations at work".The song is about the duality of being an employee in the tech industry, but acknowledging the lack of diversity as a person of color. Through my lyrics and performance, I attempt to bring to the surface disparities in education, code switching within the workspace, and memory and racism embedded into cities and their names and landmarks.
