The Donner MEDO is a compact groovebox, sampler, and synthesizer that punches way above its weight! In this video, I explore its main features, show how the companion phone app makes it even easier to use, and discuss how future updates could unlock even more potential.

With its built-in sampler and looper, you can record and layer up to 5 tracks, making it perfect for beatmaking and live jamming. It also comes with over 50 preset tones, blending subtractive synthesis and real PCM samples, and there's a growing library of sounds to explore.
One of the coolest features? You can share your compositions with the Medo community and remix tracks from other users, opening up endless collaborative possibilities! To show its versatility, I put it to the test with both a techno jam and an ambient soundscape—and it handles both surprisingly well.

But the real magic happens when you connect the desktop app. The Medo transforms into a full-fledged synthesizer, capable of creating complex, evolving textures. Using gesture controls—like tilting and shaking the device—you can dynamically shape effects in real-time, making it feel more like playing an instrument than just programming a groovebox.
