How to cook steak on a rock forest meal.
1. When all my tent and camping equipment is in order, go hunting for branches and logs.
2. Build a nice big fire. Make sure you got lots of wood to keep the fire going.
3. Find yourself a nice rock.
4. Put your rock in the fire.
5. While your rock is heating up, start getting all your ingredients together.
6. Ingredients:
Nice fatty steak
Asparagus
Wild Mushrooms
Small Golden Potatoes
Butter
Fresh Baby Carrots
1 Budweiser
French Bread
Garlic Butter
Fresh Pine Nuts
7. When your rock is hot enough, cut the fat off your steak and place on the rock. The fat helps season the rock so the steak doesn't stick. Save your steak fatty bits for dog treats and dog training.
8. Place golden potatoes and baby carrots in a dutch oven with some good wads of butter. Add half a can of budwiser. Place in embers.
9. When it feels like your rock is hot enough and seasoned from the fatty bits, place your juicy steak on the rock. Flip steak when the one side is cooked.
10. Add asparagus when ever you feel like it, depending on how you like it cooked. Either next to your steak on the rock, in your dutch oven, or on the lid.
11. Add wild mushrooms at the end. You don't want to evaporate all the goodness, but you also want them cooked.
12. Grind your pine nuts in a pestle and mortar.
13. Slice and butter your french bread. Spread garlic butter and add ground pine nuts on top.
14. Toast your garlicky pine nut slices on your hot rock.
15. Enjoy and relax in the forest.
