I’m putting out something VERY special on 4/20. It’s special for a lot of reasons. It’s the first full song I’m sharing from my album. It’s also the first time (visually) I produced, and directed. I didn’t do it alone, the entire project is a collaboration with one my favorite video artists and humans, Winterhalter. I know some of you will be curious about why we are calling it an “audio / visual collaboration”.... so check it out.... Before any music was even created, we began with writing the story and visual treatment. Then, I wrote the musical theme and emotional tone of the piece to the concept we had just created. After we shot it and made a first draft, I finished the track to the video edit, letting it inspire and guide me, like scoring a film. We went back and forth a few times letting the audio and video feed off each other. The results manifested into one of the most sonically creative, emotional, and visually stunning things I have ever been a part of!!! Facebook:
