Grand River is one of the most historic roads in the Detroit area And extends from the immediate downtown center westward to the corner border of the city and is a sister street Gratiot, Which does the exact same but on the East Side of the city!! Although grand river is still considered a major corridor it has been mostly run down and abandoned over the years especially sent the riots in the sixties
