The Redsun RP-2100 is a multi-band commercial radio. It has an IF AM output that allows the user to connect a down-converter (455 KHz to 12 KHz) and use it as a Software Defined Radio (SDR). In general, this IF output is appropriated to use with a BFO to listen to ham radio stations. However, it also can be used to listen to DRM stations and other modes via Software Defined Radio.
In this video I will show you how to listen to broadcasting and ham radio stations by using Software Defined Radio (HDSDR and Dream). To do that I am using a downconverter from 455 KHz to 12 KHz circuit connected on REDSUN IF AM out.
