Obed-Edom was no longer known as a Gittite, but a gate-keeper, a musician and a carrier of the Ark, after he hosted the Presence of God in his home and began serving Him.

No matter what kind of past you may have, if you can give God space, and become a pursuer of God's presence, His Presence is able to change you from the inside out.

2 Cor. 3:18
