A part of me always gets a little jealous when I look at all the beautiful brides on Instagram. With their custom made outfits, beautiful jewelry and flawless makeup!! When I got married at 18 I didn’t have much of a choice on anything. Our budget was small and there weren’t many options for makeup artists. So I went to a salon and had a lady who didn’t listen to a word I said on how I wanted my makeup. (correction: the only thing she listened to was to PLEASE keep my skin color the same. Can you believe I had to beg her not to make me lighter!? 🙄) My wedding ended up being so much fun and I quickly realized a perfect wedding doesn’t make a marriage. But still I can’t help but feel a little sad when I see brides now. Soo I decided to recreate my wedding makeup the way I would’ve wanted it. 10 years later and some major improvements in my makeup skills and I created the perfect look! Seriously didn’t want to take this off, but I did get some awesome pictures to share!!
