This album is about the first book of Kabbalah, the Book of Creation (Sefer Yetzirah). This album is about how making religion your own can be the most powerful and fulfilling way to worship. The occult is only secret because it is difficult on purpose. The initiation is the process, the process is the result, the result is the connection to G-d. This album is about creating and the freedom to create.
"Yotzeret Sheydim" means "she makes demons" or "creating demons." It uses the same word (yetzer) as in Sefer Yetzirah, The Book of Creation. This album is a manual for making sheydim, small demons of your own design. If you implement techniques taught within, use them with caution in mind.
A note on demons/sheydim: In my personal beliefs (some of which are reflected in historic Judaism), sheydim are mischievous weird little monsters that are made each time anything is created. They are the anti-divine spark, opposite the spark of creation. I believe that during the creation of audio or a physical object, an anti-object demon is created. These sheydim usually go unnoticed, but can be named and captured and bound to physical objects, usually the physical object that is its antithesis/twin-creation. In this album however, no sheydim are bound to any objects here. They were merely set free upon their creation, allowed to roam the landscape wherever this album may be seen or heard.
Thank you everyone for creating with me, and thank you for enjoying and appreciating my creations. It means the world to me.
