Checking out one of three digital pianos in a one day music store sweep of the city. Nothing really stood out. What I did notice is that the piano forte has so many complex nuances that is nearly impossible to replicate them in a virtual analogue context. They are getting closer and closer. Few sonics can surpass the experience of naturally generated sound waves moving air molecules and tickling the insides of the sound receptors of the human ear.
