Audio/Video Gear:
The audio interface is a Universal Audio Apollo x8p, running UAD plug-ins (emulations of classic compression, EQ, modulation and reverb). The video camera is a Canon Vixia HF G70 running into a Blackmagic Design UltraStudio Recorder 3G (converts HDMI to a thunderbolt signal) into my MacBook Pro, which is running Wirecast Pro (video switching) with Titler Live Social (onscreen graphics). I use the Loopback Audio app to send the desired Apollo output channels to Wirecast Pro.
My guitar FX chain is a Roland GR-55 guitar synthesizer (you can see the GK-3 midi pickup on the face of my guitar), into a Line 6 HX Stomp, into a LR Baggs Venue pre amp (used mostly for the tuner and the boost button for fingerpicking songs). My guitar is a custom Ovation Custom Legend (made in the USA) and an Ovation Adamas. They built them for me, since I am an Ovation-sponsored artist (). My microphone is a Neumann KMS-105. I use the OnSong app for my chords and lyrics charts on my iPad. My automated guitar tuner is a Roadie 3. I use Black Mountain thumb picks. My capo is the Glider Capo by Tonal Music.
