
Madovik cake - the most famous Russian honey cake in the world!
Let's prepare it, because according to my method it is really easy to prepare even if you are not a fan of baking✨
the ingredients:
•Honey 80 g
•A teaspoon of baking soda
•Butter 100 g
•Sugar 100 g
•Eggs 3
•Pinch of salt
•Flour 200 g
cream:
• Sour cream 27%, - 400 g
• Powdered sugar 2 tablespoons
The preparation:
In a cauldron, melt honey on low heat and add baking soda, while mixing, the batter will double in size.
Add butter and stir until it melts, set aside for the batter to cool.
Beat eggs with sugar and a pinch of salt for about 5 minutes.
Pour the honey batter into the eggs.
Mix and add flour.
Heat the oven to 180 degrees.
Pour dough on the baking sheet lined with paper and spread over the entire surface.
Bake for about 7-8 minutes.
Using a knife, straighten the edges and crush the pieces into crumbs.
Cut the cake into 4 squares.
Spread cream (just mix sour cream with powdered sugar)
and assemble the cake.
Sprinkle crushed crumbs over the cake and put it in the fridge to set for 3 hours.
