The city of Shenzhen is often compared as the Silicon Valley of China. And this building right here was known as the largest electronics market in the world. If you needed a part for building something electronic, chances are you could find it right here!

🤯 It was pretty impressive going up, floor after floor, seeing all types of electronics. People were really friendly! Today a lot of the electronics parts have moved online and Shenzhen has grown to become one of the biggest tech cities in the world.

😎 The entire city was so new, clean, and surprisingly quiet!!! (We ended up realizing this in all of the Chinese cities we visited. I think because of all the electric vehicles.)

🥳 Before we visited China, we heard many people say how difficult China was for them to visit. Which may have been the case 10-15 years ago. But besides the fact of many of our usual apps being blocked (like Google Maps, and even Google), and many of the alternative apps being written in Mandarin, we really loved our experience here in Shenzhen!! The transportation, food, and ease of paying were great! We had a great time. But this was just our own personal experience.
