Support Noel's Retro Lab on Patreon: Today we look at the very unusual Amstrad CPC 472. We learn about its colorful history, and then we open it up and look to see what exactly it's inside. And it's a good one that apparently fooled some engineers back in 1985!
We then clean and restore the keyboard and the case. The tape deck needed some cleaning and lubricating because it had trouble loading games and even playing back some tapes.
In the end, we managed to leave it looking almost as good as new.
