DJ Lipmaster Mark and MC Everson Allen, also known as the Rat Pack, were both key figures in the UK rave scene during the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Lipmaster Mark, whose real name is Mark Glanville, started his career as a DJ in the early 1980s playing hip hop, funk, and electro. He became one of the first DJs in the UK to play house music, and quickly gained a reputation for his energetic mixing and scratching. Alongside MC Everson Allen, he formed the Rat Pack and helped to pioneer the sound of old school rave music.

MC Everson Allen was born in Jamaica and moved to the UK as a child. He started his career as a rapper and became interested in MCing after attending a hip hop show in the early 1980s. He quickly developed his skills as an MC and became known for his fast-paced, rhythmic style. Along with Lipmaster Mark, he became a key figure in the UK rave scene, and helped to popularize the sound of old school rave music through his energetic and interactive performances.

Together, Lipmaster Mark and MC Everson Allen were known for their dynamic live performances, which combined Lipmaster Mark's expert mixing and scratching with MC Everson Allen's charismatic and interactive MCing. They were one of the most popular DJ and MC teams of the oldskool rave era, and their influence can still be heard in the electronic dance music scene today.
